BYD Yuan Plus is a compact electric SUV built on the BYD 3.0 electronic platform.
The battery capacity is 49.92 kWh or 60.48 kWh depending on configuration. It uses a battery built using proprietary BYD Blade technology. The battery has both cooling and heating. When fully charged, according to the manufacturer, with a battery of 49.92 kWh, a maximum range of 430 km (according to the NEDC cycle) is provided, and with a battery of 60.48 kWh, a maximum cruising range of 510 km (according to the NEDC cycle). The car has two connectors for DC fast charging and AC slow charging.

Powerful electric motor develops 204 hp. (150 kW), which allows you to accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in just 7.3 seconds. The car uses a permanent magnet synchronous motor.

The new model has larger dimensions and a redesigned interior compared to the BYD Yuan Pro. The electric vehicle is based on the new BYD e-platform 3.0 platform, which was first used in BYD Dolphin. The main advantage of the new platform is its development exclusively for the production of electric vehicles. The platform concept that sets it apart from previously produced electric vehicles lies in the presence of a heat pump, which is now included in the standard equipment of an electric vehicle, an operating system independently developed by the company, new key electrical components and an upgraded electric drive.
