The level of exports through tax havens declined 10 times
According to Igor Bilous, the total volume of exported goods amounted to a total of more than $ 42 billion, which is 4 billion less than last year.
The overwhelming amount of goods exported through the British Virgin Islands, Marshall Islands, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Seychelles, Belize, Saint Kitts and Nevis - 98%, which in monetary terms amounted to 329 million dollars. If we consider the figures separately, we get the following picture: the largest volume of exports went to the British Virgin Islands (52%), followed by Saint Vincent and the Grenadines - 24%, Marshall Islands - 9%, Seychelles - 7%, St. Kitts and Nevis - 4% and less likely to Belize - 3%. These offshore companies have been the most popular among Ukrainian businessmen.
At the same time the State Fiscal Service seeing an increase in the level of exports over 42% of Cyprus. In the period from January to September this year, the cash figure was $ 1.2 million.
The proportion of tradable goods through offshore in terms of value has a very low numerical equivalent - only 0.5% compared to 6% last year. However, it should be noted that the Ukrainian export directly to countries with preferential tax treatment, the list of which has been determined by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, rose slightly - by two per cent (from 47% to 49%).
The list of offshore zones, under the orders of our Cabinet, included 73 states. Among them are Georgia, Moldova, Cyprus, Panama, Netherlands Antilles.
