The German manufacturer continues to expand its range of electric vehicles. If earlier Volkswagen produced more status models with a huge number of innovative features, now it’s the turn of budget cars.
The new electric car was developed by Volkswagen jointly with the Chinese JAC Motors under the Sol brand, founded in 2018. Citycar was named Sol E10X. Length – 3650 mm, and the wheelbase is 2390 mm. The car has drum brakes at the rear, rims (165/65 R14) are steel, and headlights are halogen.
The E10X subcompact hatchback is equipped with a single-engine power plant, which produces 41 hp in the base version. and 95 Nm of torque. The 30.2 kWh battery provides a range of 200 to 300 km. Top speed is limited to 102 km/h.
Salon hatchback is designed for 4-5 seats. The equipment includes a 6.2-inch digital instrument panel, a multimedia system with a 10.25-inch display and climate control. Finishing is made of eco-leather and textile.
The drive is purely front. It has a lithium iron phosphate battery with a capacity of 30.2 kWh and a range of 302 km.
The body palette consists of seven colors, including pink and blue. All of them can be combined with a black roof (no panoramic).
