The Chinese company Dongfeng specializes in the development and production of small electric vehicles. , a subsidiary of Dongfeng Group, has begun selling a new budget crossover. Dongfeng Motor, Nano BOX is aimed at the youth market and is positioned as an all-electric compact crossover. From the outside, it looks quite attractive. The crossover has a stylish front end with narrow two-story optics and massive air intakes with wide plastic edging. The sidewalls are distinguished by black plastic lining on the wheel arches.
With a wheelbase of 2423 mm, the electric car reaches 3732 mm in length, 1579 mm in width and 1511 mm in height with a luggage compartment of 1107 liters. There are four shades in the body palette: black coffee, white, green lotus and cherry. The battery charging port is on the front. Roof rails are installed. Layout – 2 + 2. The rear seats can be folded down. The exterior and interior are made in a two-tone style.
The interior of the electric car is equipped with two displays: a 7.0-inch instrument panel and an infotainment system with a 10-inch display of a “floating” multimedia system. From the high-speed charging terminal, the crossover battery is replenished from 30 to 80% in just 30 minutes.
In a special application, there is a remote door control, air conditioning remote control, vehicle location, battery level control, vehicle condition diagnostics. The seat material is artificial leather. The electric propulsion system consists of an electric motor with a capacity of 33 kW and 125 Nm of torque, and a 15.97 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery. The power reserve is small – 201 km, but this should be enough for trips around the city. This electric car accelerates to 50 km/h in 6 seconds.
In terms of safety, the new vehicle meets the highest international safety standard, ASIL-D, and is made from high-strength, nuclear-powered submarine grade steel. All models are equipped as standard with primary and passenger airbags, child seat anchors, child door locks, ABS and EBD brake force distribution.
