The most budget electric car in the Middle Kingdom, the Wuling MINI EV 2022, has got a new gaming version of the GameBoy Edition. Four different versions have been released: Hurricane Phantom, Jungle Traveler, Star Rover and Party Sweetheart, each featuring slightly different exterior trim and different wheelset.

There are new lights at the rear and front, as well as a sport package with additions to the bumpers and side skirts. However, the proportions and overall fit of the car remain unchanged – a tall and narrow body with square edges and tiny 12-inch wheels. One funny thing to note is that this edition of the GameBoy is not a collaboration with Nintendo and has nothing to do with the Game Boy series.

By default, the city car comes with the following list of equipment: EUR, driver assistance system, rear parking sensors and power windows. Anti-lock braking system ABS, brake force distribution system EBD, pedestrian recognition at low speed, tire pressure sensor, automatic traffic blocking are responsible for the level of safety. Note that the Wuling MINI EV GameBoy Edition is based on the standard Hongguang MINI EV electric car, which is very popular in the Chinese market. The car has a closed front grille with rounded rectangular headlights on both sides. As for the dimensions of the body, its length, width and height are 2.99 / 1.49 / 1.6 meters, and the wheelbase reaches just over 2 meters. The design of the stern of the city car in the new version resembles the current version of the model. Sheer stern increases rear space. The interior is simple and practical. The color schemes used in the cabin echo the exterior. Upholstery is a combination of fabric and leather.
As standard, the car has ABS + EBD systems, driver airbags, 4-way adjustable front seats, tire pressure sensors, a 7-inch color LCD panel, a rearview mirror with a built-in car recorder, air conditioning and a rearview camera. Specifications The Wuling Hongguang Mini EV Gameboy electric car is equipped with a battery with heating and intelligent insulation functions.
This new Mini EV has 15 percent more power, with a 26 kWh battery that powers an electric motor with 41 horsepower (30 kilowatts) peak power and about 75 lb-ft (110 Nm) of torque. The car added in dimensions relative to its predecessor: length – 3061 mm, width – 1520 mm, height – 1665 mm. The wheelbase has increased by 70 mm – up to 2010 mm.
